Mooring Maintenance

Periodic Inspection & Replacement of the Following Components is Highly Recommended

• Mooring Chain (Inspect annually by pulling mooring from water or sending diver down)
• Pennants (signs of fraying at buoy or boat ends)
• Shackle at Mooring Anchor
• Shackle connecting chain to mooring buoy (Pins locked?)
• Swivels (Signs of wear -- moving freely)
• Name & phone number on buoy
• Blue stripe on buoy
